Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Always unplug the unit and allow the body and inner pot to cool completely before cleaning.
- Remove the 304 stainless steel inner lid and micro-pressure valve and clean with a sponge and neutral detergent. Dry thoroughly after washing.
- The inner pot has a non-stick coating. Do not scrub with metal scourers or strongly acidic, alkaline or abrasive cleaners, as these may scratch the coating.
- Gently wipe the exterior with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse the entire unit in water or rinse it directly.
Precautions:
- The steam valve becomes hot during cooking. Keep hands and face away from the steam outlet to avoid burns.
- Use the included rice paddle or a suitable heat-resistant silicone, wooden or plastic utensil. Avoid sharp metal tools that may damage the inner pot.
- Do not add water or ingredients above the maximum level marked inside the pot, to prevent boiling over.
Storage Tips:
- For extended storage, thoroughly clean and dry all components, then store in a cool, well-ventilated place.
- Store the power cable carefully. Avoid heavy pressure or excessive bending that could damage the internal wires.
