Yes. The star projector and humidifier have separate control buttons. You can use the projector alone as a night light or run just the humidifier.
This is an ultrasonic humidifier with a cotton wick. Only ordinary room-temperature tap water is recommended. Adding essential oils may clog the wick or damage the atomising mechanism.
A full charge takes approximately 3.5 hours. Runtime varies depending on whether the projector is on and which mist mode is selected (continuous or intermittent). You can also keep it powered via the USB cable.
Depending on use and water quality, replace the absorbent cotton wick every 2 to 3 months to maintain optimal humidification and hygienic mist output.
