First, prepare the batter, place the pancake plate on, and preheat the product on medium heat for about 4 minutes. Add the batter and cook for 2-3 minutes. Once the bottom is set, use a heat-resistant plastic takoyaki pick or bamboo skewer to lift the edges of the pancake and flip it. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
The Hong Kong version only comes with one flat plate and the Pokémon pancake plate. The takoyaki plate needs to be purchased separately.

This is normal. The heating element is coated with protective oil during manufacturing. When heated for the first time, this oil will evaporate, causing a small amount of white smoke and a slight odor. This is normal and will become less noticeable with use.
When using the deep pot (sold separately) to boil water, the lid must be used, otherwise, heat will dissipate too quickly to bring the water to a boil. When cooking on low to medium heat, you can use the lid as required by the recipe. When grilling meat or making takoyaki, or when preheating the plate, avoid using the lid as the plate temperature may reach 200-250 degrees.
Due to the product's structure, the right side (near the power cord plug) will be slightly less hot than the left side. This is normal.
This indicates that the product's temperature controller is operating, maintaining the product at the set temperature. HI: The product temperature fluctuates between 210-250C. MED: The product temperature fluctuates between 150-210C. LOW: The product temperature fluctuates between 90-150C. WARM: The product temperature fluctuates between 65-90C.
It is not recommended to put the plate in the dishwasher. We suggest washing it with a sponge and dish soap.
If the plate is not dried immediately after washing, water evaporation can leave white scale residue on the bottom of the plate. This generally does not affect use. To avoid this, please dry the plate with a dry cloth after each wash, do not air dry.
