  • Colorful Tomato Granita Capellini

    【Ingredients】(Serves 1)

    • Capellini / 100g (1.2mm thickness)
    • Cherry tomatoes / 2 pcs
    • Yellow bell pepper / 20g
    • Cucumber / 20g

    • <★Tomato Ice Cubes>
    • ★Tomato juice (unsalted) / 80ml
    • ★Sugar / a pinch
    • Hot water / 1 tsp
    • Consommé granules / 1/2 tsp

    • <☆Sauce Seasoning>
    • ☆Olive oil / 1 tbsp
    • ☆Soy sauce / 1/2 tsp
    • ☆Garlic paste (tube) / 1/2 tsp

    • <For cooking noodles>
    • Hot water / 1000ml
    • Salt / 1 tbsp

    【Preparation】

    • Dissolve the consommé granules in 1 tsp of hot water. Mix ★tomato juice, sugar, and the dissolved consommé in the provided ice cube tray. Cover and freeze in the freezer.
    • Cut cherry tomatoes into quarters; chop cucumber and yellow bell pepper into coarse pieces. Put them in a bowl, add ☆seasoning, and mix quickly. Set aside.

    【Instructions】

    1. Bring 1000ml of water to a boil in a pot and add 1 tbsp of salt. Add capellini and cook for about 2 minutes longer than the package instructions. After cooking, drain and immerse in cold water to cool quickly, then drain thoroughly.
    2. Place the drained capellini in the bowl with the ingredients and sauce. Mix well and serve on a plate.
    3. Place the prepared tomato ice cubes into a shaved ice machine and gently shave the tomato ice evenly over the cold noodles.

    【Tips】

    • For best results, make sure the tomato juice ice cubes are frozen for at least 24 hours until completely solid before shaving.
