Mentaiko and Potato Salad
【 Ingredients 】<Approx. 1 Serving>
- Bread (about 1.5cm thick) / 1 slice
- Potato salad / 2 tablespoons
- Mentaiko (spicy cod roe) / 1 teaspoon
- Pepper / a small amount
- Vegetable oil / appropriate amount
【 Instructions 】
1. Attach the sandwich toaster plate and turn on the power.
2. When the green light turns on, apply vegetable oil.
3. Fold the bread diagonally and place it on the plate.
4. Spread mentaiko on one side, add potato salad, and sprinkle with pepper.
5. Close and lock the plate. After baking for 3–4 minutes, remove with wooden chopsticks or similar.
■ How to Make Potato Salad
- Potato / 1 piece
- Onion / 1/8 piece
- Mayonnaise / 3 tablespoons
- Salt, pepper / a small amount
1. Wash the potato, wrap it in damp kitchen paper and then in plastic wrap. Microwave (600W) for about 3 minutes. Peel and place in a bowl, then mash while hot using a fork.
2. Thinly slice the onion.
3. While the potato is still hot, add the onion, then mix in the mayonnaise, salt, and pepper to season.
