Pesto Rosemary Ribeye Steak

【Main ingredients】

  • Ribeye steak (2.5 cm thick) / 1 piece
  • Oil / 1 tbsp

【Spices (grind with FinaMill electric spice grinder)】

  • Whole black pepper (use FinaPod PRO Plus) / appropriate amount
  • Himalayan Rock Salt (with FinaPod PRO Plus) / Appropriate amount
  • Garlic (use FinaPod PRO Plus) / appropriate amount
  • Thyme (using FinaPod MAX) / appropriate amount
  • Rosemary (using FinaPod MAX) / appropriate amount


1. Take the steak out of the package and let it rest on the counter for at least 30 minutes. This will allow the steak to reach room temperature and cook better.

2. Use FinaMill electric spice grinder to grind salt, pepper, garlic, thyme and rosemary, and apply evenly on the first side. Next, flip the steak and coat the other side.

3. Preheat a pit pan or pan and grease it with 1 tablespoon of oil.

4. Place the steak on top and fry over high heat until fragrant. After cooking for 2 minutes, rotate the steak 90 degrees so that staggered grill marks appear on the surface of the steak. Fry for another 2 minutes and then flip.

5. Fry for another 2 minutes and rotate 90 degrees.

6. Depending on the cut of the steak and the grill temperature, this method should cook a steak 3 to 5 done. If you want your steak to be more "done," sear it for up to 2 minutes more on each side.
