Dutch Baby Waffles

Ingredients <1 piece>

【Main ingredients】

  • Low-gluten flour / 40g
  • Cinnamon powder / 1/3 teaspoon (optional)
  • Egg / 1 piece
  • Brown sugar / 10g
  • Fresh milk / 50g
  • Butter / 5g

          【Method】

          1. Place the cast iron pan into the oven and preheat at 200 degrees for 5 minutes. Take out the cast iron pan, add butter and continue to preheat for 1 minute.

          2. Mix eggs, sugar, low-gluten flour, cinnamon powder, and fresh milk until there are no particles.

          3. Take out the preheated cast iron pan and add the egg mixture.

          4. Return to the oven and bake at 200 degrees for about 13 minutes until golden brown.

          5. After taking it out of the oven, sprinkle with icing sugar and add fruits or dried fruits.

          【Tips】

          ・Cast iron pans must be preheated for optimal results.
          If you don’t have a cast iron pan, you can use a ceramic baking cup or a 6-compartment cake mold instead.
