Purple Sweet Potato Cheese Ball

【Main ingredients】

  • Purple sweet potato / 80g
  • Milk / 25-30g
  • Psyllium husk powder / 2g
  • Sugar / 10g
  • Skim cheese slice / 1 slice (divided into 5 portions)
  • White sesame seeds / appropriate amount


          1. Peel the purple sweet potato, slice into slices and steam for 15-20 minutes.

          2. Add milk, sugar and psyllium husk powder to purple sweet potato, and press into puree. It will be relatively wet at first, but after a while, the psyllium husk powder will absorb the water, making the purple sweet potato puree waxier and giving it a mochi texture.

          3. Divide the purple sweet potato puree into 5 equal portions, flatten them, and then add cheese slices. Shape into small balls.

          4. Finally, dip the purple sweet potato waves in white sesame seeds and apply a little oil on the surface. Place in preheated air fryer, 180 degrees for 10 minutes.
