Souffle Pancake

Ingredients<Serves 2>

【Main ingredients】

  • Egg / 1 piece
  • All-purpose flour / 1 tablespoon
  • Corn starch / 2 tsp
  • Milk / 1 tablespoon
  • Rice vinegar / 1/8 teaspoon
  • White sugar / 1 tablespoon
  • Sugar / 1 tablespoon
  • Butter / 1 piece
  • Powdered sugar / 1 teaspoon


          1. Separate egg whites and egg yolks.

          2. Mix egg yolk, milk and cake flour.

          3. Beat the egg whites until they are stiff. Add sugar in 3 batches during this period. Add egg whites little by little to the mixture in step 2.

          4. Fry the pandan over low heat, add a teaspoon of water, cover and fry for about 3-4 minutes, then flip and fry the other side for about 3-4 minutes.


          ・Easy-clean wok or compact hot plate must be used.
          ・Use a small fire when frying the pancake, because the pancake needs to be steamed for a period of time to cook the thick batter, so the pancake is always in contact with the frying pan. If the fire is too high, the surface will be too dark.
          ・Use a plastic bag/ice cream ladle to make a lazy round shape.
          ・It is best to enjoy it immediately after serving.
