Beef Brisket Noodles

Ingredients<Serves 2>

【Main ingredients】

  • Beef ribs / 1 pound
  • White radish / one
  • Onion and ginger / appropriate amount

【Soup】

  • Star anise / 3 capsules
  • Geranium leaves / 4 pieces
  • Licorice / 2 tablets
  • Sichuan peppercorn / 1 teaspoon
  • Tsaoko / 1 capsule
  • Crystal sugar / a small piece
  • Beef broth / 2 capsules (can boil 900ml of water)

          【Method】

          1. Soak the beef ribs in water for about 30 minutes and then defrost. Put the beef ribs in frozen water, add an appropriate amount of rice wine, ginger and green onions and bring to a boil. Bring to a boil and then drain in the frozen water.

          2. Peel the white radish and cut into thick slices.

          3. Heat the oil pan, add ginger slices, green onion segments and soup base ingredients and sauté over high heat for 1 minute. Add beef ribs and stir-fry. Add beef broth cubes and water, then add white radish and cook over medium heat. After boiling, reduce the heat to a light boil, cover and cook for 90 minutes, cover and bake for 30 minutes. During this period, use a spoon to remove the floating oil on the surface. (Eating it the next day will make it even more delicious)

          4. Finally, use a spoon to remove the soup base ingredients, cook the rice noodles, pour in the hot beef broth, beef brisket and white radish, sprinkle with chopped green onions, and the delicious and fragrant pork belly rice noodles in clear soup are completed.
