【Method】
1. First mix high-gluten flour, white sugar, salt, instant yeast and milk. Beat the dough with a mixer and mix on medium speed for 5 minutes, then on medium-high speed for 5 minutes.
2. When the dough starts to pull out a rough film, add cooking oil. Beat on medium-high speed for 5-10 minutes until the dough becomes smooth.
3. Coat the mixing bowl with olive oil, roll the dough into a ball, place it in the mixing bowl, cover it with plastic wrap, and leave it at room temperature for about 60 minutes (first fermentation). Deflate the dough.
4. Pour out the dough and divide it into six equal portions. Roll into a ball and rest for ten minutes.
5. Flatten the dough again and roll it into a round shape. Cover with a cloth and leave at room temperature for 45-60 minutes (second fermentation).
6. Prepare the compact hot plate (if you don’t have one, you can also use the frying pan) without adding cooking oil, and turn it on low to medium heat.
7. Coat both sides of the dough with rice flour and gently pat away the excess rice flour.
8. Then place the dough directly on the compact hot plate. Fry, covered, over low to medium heat for four minutes. Flip the other side and fry covered for four minutes. The English muffin bread is complete.
9. Cut the English muffin bread in half crosswise.
10.
