buttered toast


Ingredients (for 2 people)

  • Yamagata toast (cut into four slices) 2 slices
  • 20g cream

  1. Make cross cuts on each slice of bread.
  2. Cut half of the cream (10g) into squares and set aside.
  3. Spread the remaining 10g of butter evenly on one side of the bread.
  4. Place the bread into the toaster, select the toast mode, and bake until the surface turns caramel color (bake for about 2.5 to 3.5 minutes).
  5. After baking, spread the reserved 10g butter on the bread, then put it back on the toaster and use the remaining heat to melt the butter.

Preparation time : about 5 minutes.

This simple and quick butter toast is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and rich in butter flavor, perfect for a light snack or breakfast.
