Roast Spring Chicken

Ingredients<Serves 2>

【Main ingredients】

  • Spring chicken / 1 piece (500g)
  • Onion slices / 1/2 pieces
  • Butter / 1 teaspoon
  • Thyme / 1 pinch

          【Marinage】

          • Cumin powder / 1 teaspoon
          • Red pepper powder / 1 teaspoon
          • Garlic powder / 1/2 teaspoon
          • Crushed black pepper / 1/2 teaspoon
          • Red wine vinegar / 2 tsp
          • Sip juice / 2 tsp
          • Dark soy sauce / 1 teaspoon

          【Method】

          1. Wash the spring chicken and cut off the tail, backbone and neck.

          2. Turn the chicken over, lay it flat, and drain the water with kitchen paper.

          3. Mix the marinade ingredients and spread evenly over the chicken and marinate for 15 minutes.

          4. Place onion slices on a dual-purpose baking pan and top with chicken.

          5. Place butter, chopped black pepper and thyme on the surface of the chicken.

          6. Preheat oven to 160 degrees for 1 minute.

          7. Cover and bake in oven for 30 minutes.

          8. Let cool slightly before cutting into pieces and serving on a plate.

          【Tips】

          When choosing spring chicken, the French variety is generally more delicious.
          Choose thick-meat onions to make the chicken moister during cooking.
